Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Home Liquor Store + Fed Bldg 5/19/64" in handwriting. The image shows the Federal Building in downtown Juneau during its construction. Captured diagonally from a low, upward looking angle, the view of the building's frame is skewed left and Mount Roberts is prominent in the right hand background. The building itself is little more than a red steel frame, with what appears to be a plastic band wrapped around its middle. This shot is wider than the previous, and so it includes the low structure below the Federal Building's frame, a brick liquor store with a Budweiser sign at left, and the Coca—Cola logo on its principle signage, which reads "Home Liquor Store." A power line cuts through the top of the image. The number "15" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
