A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4 1949" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float traveling along an undefined street. The float is purple, with the text "BPOE 420" emblazoned in white on its front. On top of the float, there is what seems to be an allegorical clock face, along with a faux dead tree. A woman in a wedding dress sits toward the float's front. Several surrounding buildings also visible, one bearing a sign for liquor, and another for a drug store. The number "30" is imprinted on the frame at the lower left.
