Title:
Black and white photo of Bill Dunn and friends at park
Photographer:
Sincic, Paul J.
Description:
Large black and white Photograph by Paul Sincic of four older folks around a swingset with sand under their feet. On proper right, man standing with one hand on swingset, then a woman standing with hands in her pockets, headscarf and a "Pioneers of Alaska" windbreaker, then a woman seated on a swing, wearing glasses, knit hat, plaid wool coat and tennis shoes, then a man seated on a swing with plaid wool jacket and fedora hat (Bill Dunn).
Notes:
Donor got this at an estate sale with other items: inkwell with Bill Dunn's name in the shape of a prospector panning for gold, made of clay in Juneau by JL, a briefcase with Dunn's initials, and a coat—of—arms plaque for the Dunn family. The donor gave permission for these last 3 items to be passed on to anyone interested, and they were given to June Hall Oct 2005. Bill Dunn was apparently fairly active in the politics of Juneau, and went a lot of public meetings. Perhaps this image shows him discussing civic matters with his friends? Might be Sandy Beach.
