Notes:
First the Last Chance Hydraulic Mining Company, then the JUALPA Mining Company tried to get industrial scale placer operation going in Last Chance Basin approximately 1900 — 1905. They had lots of problems, including avalanches and slides that damaged this and previous flumes.
