The third man (Michael Morgan) has longer dark hair and a beard. He has a striped collared shirt and jacket that has a logo on the left chest. He has his hands in the pockets of the jacket. The last man (Alan Judson) is turned sideways from the camera and is wearing a a white short sleeve collared shirt with a Juneau Fire Department patch on the left shoulder. He has a radio attached to his belt on the left side. His hands are clasped behind his back and he is looking at the first man.
There is a typed caption that was attached to the bottom of the photo. It reads: "Deputy Mayor Jamie Parsons presents the City and Borough of Juneau's Award for Bravery to Larry Carleson, second from left, and Michael Morgan, for saving the lives of three children and an adult from the Sorby Apartment fire on November 7, 1983. Coordinating Fire Chief Alan Judson, right, participated in the ceremony."
