Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) tied up on shore. The shoreline is rocky with driftwood and some vegetation. Trees in background. Text on the side of the plane identifies it as part of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. There is a woman standing on shore near the aircraft's tail. A man is in the water between the shoreline and the plane's left pontoon. He is lifting and carrying another woman from the pontoon to the shore.
Verso has a stamped number "05" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
Photographs is at Lake Renahan on Chichagof Island in 1931.
