A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Looking up Chatham Strait at Marble Bluffs July 3, 1954" in handwriting. The image shows an expanse of ocean water, presumably the Chatham Strait, with the water disturbed by the wake of a boat. To the right of the image is a sliver of land with a low mountain slope ascending out of view, probably the Marble Bluffs. The sky is a leaden gray. The number "6" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
