Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) beached in the middle of a waterway (on a reef or sandbank). Two men are in front of the aircraft and appear to be pushing on the pontoons, one man on each pontoon, attempting to push the aircraft backwards. To the proper right of the plane and men is a clump of branches and tree debris. Snow covered mountains, water, trees, and shoreline in the background. Water in the foreground. Verso has a stamped "89" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
The photograph is of the float plane named "Taku" stuck in the Taku River near Tulsoquah in 1930.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
