"Trojan" was built in Seattle area for AJ Mine Co. & brought north in 1932. Captain was Larry McKechnie. Vessel was sold to Foss & Barge in early 1950's & renamed "David Foss" to be used in Puget Sound.
The dumping barges were used to dispose of waste rock from the mine. Waste rock was from drilling tunnels — not from milling.
