Black and white photograph of two sea plane (float plane) pontoons floating upside down in the water. They are connected by two poles visible under the water. They are also attached by a length of rope which is coiled on top of the pontoon on the proper left. Next to the pontoons in the lower proper left corner of the image is a row boat with two men. Both men are wearing hats. Neither are looking at the camera. The photograph is taken from above.

The photograph is of an aircraft which crashed. The plane was turned upside down and towed back to the A.J. Dock. It was then hoisted on to the dock.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
