"Taku" having its Pontoons Changed

Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) inside a wooden building. The plane has only one pontoon attached (on the plane's left side). On the side of the plane partial text is visible reading: " INGTON / YS" and which is a part of the text reading "ALASKA—WASHINGTON / AIRWAYS". Under the cockpit's windows is text reading "Taku". A wheel and a broom are visible in the lower proper left corner of image. There is a window in the back wall toward the proper left edge of the image. Under the window is a spool of wire on two angled pieces of wood. There is a door on the back wall at image center. A crate with two upside down funnels are in front of the door. On the proper right side of the background is another window and what could be a work bench with tools.
Verso has a stamped "24" in the lower proper left corner in blue ink.
Photograph is of the float plane named "Taku" having its pontoons changed at midnight in 1930.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
