Black and white photograph of a crashed float plane (sea plane) next to a shoreline. The tail of the plane appears to be in the trees and/or on the rocks of the shore. The nose is in the water. Damage to both wings is visible. Tree covered mountains in background. Water and waves in foreground.

Verso has a number "4" stamped sideways in purple ink located in the upper proper right corner.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
