Color photograph of the 4th of July parade 1998.
Fire truck No. 2, which has no roof is heading down Egan Drive toward Thane. The passenger side of the truck is visible and its front is on the proper left. There are people sitting in the back of the truck and people walking along the side throwing salt water taffy. There are red, white, and blue ribbons on the truck. The site of the future downtown transit center is directly behind the fire truck. The Sealaska building is on the proper left side. Other downtown buildings and mountains are visible in the background. There are spectators along Egan.
