Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4 1951" in handwriting. The image shows the parade route along an unnamed street, with beige siding buildings lining the left of the street and the perpendicular corner. Several floats are traveling in the direction of the camera, the front two being fashioned out of watercraft, and the third being decorated with faux greenery. People are milling about the street, more thickly in the background. Power lines line the left side of the road. The number "11" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
