Black and white photograph of a mountainous landscape behind a waterway. A glacier is at approximately center in the background. The mountains in the background has snow on them. The mountain(s) in the foreground is tree covered. There are a few islands in the water.

Verso has a stamped number "55" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
The photograph is of the Mendenhall Glacier and Lynn Canal in 1931. The mountain/landmass in the lower proper left corner is Douglas Island.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
