Black and white photograph of a grid like structure on and in the water. The water is pooled in between the sections of the grid. There are six men standing or sitting on the grid frame work. They all appear to be looking down into the water. There is a small building at the back end of the grid that has a chimney pipe. There is a clothes line with clothes hanging on it on the side of the building. A propeller blade from an aircraft is visible in the foreground as if the photograph was taken from the plane. Mountains and water in background. Verso has the number "56" handwritten in pencil.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
