Black and white photograph of two float plane (sea plane) pontoons at the center of the image being dragged through the water by a ship in the lower proper left corner of the image. There are four men on the ship. There is a row boat with one man behind the pontoons. Verso has the number "56" handwritten in pencil.
The photograph is of an aircraft which crashed. The plane was turned upside down and towed back to the A.J. Dock. It was then hoisted on to the dock.
