Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Boat Hbr. 7/8/64" in handwriting. The image shows small harbor area thick with small boats. Several piers are laid in the water adjacent to each other, on which the boats are moored. Tall wood pilings jut upward from the water and tower over the boats. In the background, the old cantilever Juneau—Douglas Bridge can be seen stretching over the Gastineau Channel to Douglas Island, which occupies the entirety of the background.
