A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Black and white photo of corner of Franklin & Front Streets, taken from South Franklin below intersection. Large commercial corner building with "Harry Race Drugs" sign at center of photo, with Front Street extending toward proper right and Franklin extending toward upper proper left corner. Second—floor window just above corner reads "Dr. Bayne Dentist." Several cars parked on street; man in dark suit & light—colored hat with back to photographer walks up sidewalk of Franklin. Numerous electric wires criss—cross overhead. Printed in white along bottom edge: "#753 Triangle Place — Juneau, Alaska T. Davis". Handwritten below photo: "Corner of Franklin and Front Street Harry Race Drug store. There are four Drug stores in Juneau. Since there has been one more added which make 5 in all."

C — Black and white photo of Front Street, facing east. Storefronts visible on either side with cars on street and several people on sidewalks; dark dog stands on sidewalk in lower proper right corner. Signs along proper right side of street read "Drugs" "Bakery" "Piggly Wiggly" and "Horluck's Danish Fancy Ice Cream". On proper left side a "Hardware & Furniture" sign is visible. Mount Juneau in background. Printed in black at bottom edge of photo: "Front Street — Juneau, Alaska / 57279 (c) 36 Ordway". Several locations along proper right side of street have been marked in blue ballpoint pen with numbers 1—4 or an X. Handwritten below photo: "Where X is the old buildings have been removed and a $50,000 00/100 theatre building replaces them. 1 — Juneau Drugs. 2 — Percey's [crossed out] Sully's Bakery. 3 — Percey's Cafe. 4 — First national bank."

D — Black and white photo of downtown Juneau from Mount Roberts area, facing northwest. Mount Juneau slopes down from upper proper left corner, with buildings filling lower half of photo and Gastineau Channel/Douglas mountains/Chilkat Mountains in upper proper right corner. Photo is marked with two "X"s in blue pen, one at base of Mount Juneau near center of photo and one to upper proper left of old Federal courthouse. Corner of Front & Franklin Streets at bottom center of photo. Printed in white in lower proper left corner: "112 WPCo. Juneau — Alaska". Handwritten caption below photo reads: "View showing some of the large homes on the flat and Scatter Tract. The snow covered mountains in distance are Chillcatt Mts."

E — Black and white photo of downtown Juneau taken from lower down than previous photo and facing slightly more toward due west. Leaves and branches along bottom edge of photo; buildings fill most of central part, and channel and Douglas mountains are in background, mostly in upper proper right quadrant. Douglas Bridge appears in upper proper right quadrant near proper right edge. Certain buildings numbered one through nine in blue ink. Printed in white along bottom edge: "Juneau, Alaska, Elite Studio." Handwritten below photo: "View of bridge which connects Douglas and Juneau. 1 — High School. 2 — Grade ". 3 — Masonic Temple. 4 — Federal building. 5 — Fire Hall & public library. 6 — Assembly Apts. 7 — MacKinnon ". 8 — Juneau Hotel. 9 — Bhrends [sic] General Store."
