Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "St Ann's Band July 4 1957" in handwriting. The image shows a frontal view of First Street, looking down toward Franklin Street on the parade route. The 20th Century Gross Building is prominent at left. Either sidewalk is thick with spectators. The St. Ann's marching band, clad in gold and blue half capes is marching in three columns toward the camera. The number "14" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
