Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) tied to a wooden dock. Text on the side of the aircraft reads: "CF—ARF TOTEM". The plane has a boat like enclosed cabin. The wings extend from the top of the cabin and each has a small pontoon hanging near the center of each wing. The propeller and engine are attached above the wings . The propeller has two blades. A town is in the background. One of the buildings has a sign which reads: "PACIFIC STEAMSHIP". The airplane is the Boeing Totem.

Verso has the number "56" handwritten in pencil.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
