Black and white photograph of a man standing on a float plane's (sea plane) left pontoon. He is standing at the middle of the pontoon next to the cabin. The aircraft is pulled up on a wooden ramp. Text on the side of the aircraft identify it as a part of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. Buildings in the background. Verso has the number "56" handwritten in pencil. The man is F.A. Hatcher and the plane is named "Taku"

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
