Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) docked in a harbor. Text on the side of the aircraft identifies it as a part of the Ketchikan Airways of Alaska fleet. Text on the plane's tail reads: "NC—331—W". The dock and surrounding landscape is covered in snow. There is a person (man) standing near the tail of the plane and is facing the camera. There is a another person partially visible behind the plane's tail. Tree and snow covered mountains in background. AJ mine is visible on mountain side in background. Photograph was taken in January in Juneau, Alaska

Verso has a stamped number "55" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
