Set of four (4) sample postcards from box (2014.11.034 A—B) used at Paul Bloedhorn's jewelry shop. These four postcards feature photographs from Alert Bay, British Columbia, Canada.

A: Black and white vertical postcard. Front has a photograph of a winged totem pole in front of a building. There are trees in the background. Black in the upper proper right reads: "Totem Poles at Alert Bay". At approximately center there is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "T12" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". The number "7" is handwritten in pencil in the upper proper left corner.

B: Black and white vertical postcard. Front has a photograph of a group of totem poles (at least four) with in a fenced area. There is a group of people standing around the poles. The corner of a railing is in the lower proper left corner. Trees in the background. Black text along the upper edge reads: "Totem Poles in Cemetery, Alert Bay, B.C." In the upper proper left corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "T2" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". C: Black and white vertical postcard. Front has a photograph of a group of three (3) totem poles in front of two (2) buildings. There is a street in front of the poles and buildings running from the lower proper right to the proper left edge on which people are walking. Black text near the upper edge reads: "Totem Poles, Alert Bay, B.C." Below the black text is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "T14" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". D: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a coastline town. Buildings, boats and docks are on the waterfront. Many of the buildings are raised on pilings. Trees in the background. Black text in the upper proper right corner reads: "Alert Bay, B.C." Also in the upper proper right corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A8" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS".
