Black and white photograph a float plane (sea plane) docked in front of a wooden aircraft hanger. The hanger has the text "Alaska \ Washington Airways" along its roof line. The float plane is viewed from the front. It has a propeller on its nose. Water in foreground. There is a man standing on the hanger's floor at the proper right of the image. Snow capped mountain in the background to the proper right. Verso is blank.

Photograph is of the plane "The Petersburg" at the Alaska Washington Airways Juneau hanger in 1931.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
