Description:
Black and white photograph of an airplane parked in a field. The ground is mostly dirt with some grassy vegetation. The photograph is viewing the aircraft's front and left side. On the bottom of the plane's left wing is text reading "NC 15". Text on the tail reads: "NC 153H". And text near the nose reads" FAIRCHILD". The plane has a two blade propeller on its nose. The cabin has a front five pane window and four windows on each side.

Verso has a stamped number "17" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
The photograph is of the Alaska Airway's Fairchild in Fairbanks in 1931.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
