Description:
Black and white photograph of two men and a float plane (sea plane). Text on the side of the aircraft identifies it as a part of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. One man is standing on the plane's left pontoon near the door to the cabin. There are six two handled bucket like containers on the plane's left pontoon, three on either side of the man. A second man is standing in the water next to the plane. He is holding one of the buckets, tipping its contents into the water. Three additional bucks are in the water next to him. Mountains and water in background. In the lower proper left corner is white text reading: "ORDWAY C 31 JUNEAU". The "C" is enclosed in a circle as the copyright symbol.

Verso has a stamped number "89" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
In the photograph the men are planting fish in Lake Dorothy in 1931.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
