Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Mendenhall Glacier from Stevens [sic] Passage 6—20—54" in handwriting. The image shows a wide expanse of ocean water, leading up to a far shore with heavily snowcapped mountains. In the center of the far shore, there is what appears to be the Mendenhall Glacier, tinted lightly blue against the white of the mountaintops. The number "20" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
