A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Black and white borderless photo, 6.5" x 3.5", of Baranof Hotel taken from northwest corner. Front of building at proper left with Franklin Street in lower proper left corner; side of building at proper right with Second Street in lower proper right corner. Telephone pole and hillside at proper right edge of photo. Day is sunny. Handwritten below photo and to proper right of next photo: "The new Baranof Hotel — costing over $500,000. 00/100 which was opened March 1 — 1939. A beautiful structure and very beautifully finished inside."

C — Black and white view of Baranof taken from the south, several stories above Franklin Street. Baranof building fills most of center of photo, extending from proper left edge almost to proper right. Roof top of another building at bottom of photo; Mount Juneau at top. Franklin Street runs diagonally up toward proper right with partially obscured sign for "John Torvinen [?] TAILOR" on proper right side of street.

D — Black and white photo of Klondike gold rush miners' camp. Throng of buildings, people, and objects in lower center of photo, surrounded by snow—covered ground and mountains. Two winding trails of people traverse central mountain, one toward proper right and one toward proper left. Printed in white across bottom edge: "The Great Gold Rush to the Klondike Elite Studio. PA". Handwritten below photo: "A scene taken during the Gold rush in the Klondike region."

E — Black and white photo facing up Mendenhall Loop Road toward the glacier. Ground is covered in snow, with road somewhat packed down by tires. Line of trees across photo 1/3 of the way down; Mendenhall Glacier, mountains, and sky beyond. Printed in white across bottom edge: "Mendenhall Glacier in the Distance Elite Studio". Handwritten below photo: "Road during snow time to Mendenhall Glacier which can be seen in the distance."
