A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Black and white view of Juneau taken from over the channel near Thane facing north toward downtown and Mount Juneau. Gravel piles in lower proper left quadrant with white smoke rising from just beyond and spreading toward upper proper right corner. Water/tidal flats fill most of lower proper right quadrant. Printed in black at bottom edge: "Juneau, Alaska / 35056 (c)36 Ordway". Handwritten below photo: "Showing the gravel piles which are carried by water from the Alaska—Juneau gold mine."

C — Black and white view of downtown Juneau taken from Mount Jumbo. Downtown is located a little below and to proper right of center; channel cuts across photo near bottom, with Douglas rocks in foreground and downtown Douglas visible in lower proper left corner. No snow on Mount Roberts or Mount Juneau; day is sunny. Printed in white in lower proper right corner: "Douglas and Juneau Alaska. View From Mount Jumbo." Handwritten below photo: "This view of Douglas with Juneau across the Channel was taken from Mount Jumbo a very high peak out or back from Douglas. This shows the ruggedness of mountains in the distance."

D — Miniature Alaska flag. Flag is 7" x 4.75", stars appear to have been batiked into place when flag was dyed blue, and then painted yellow afterwords. Stitching along edge of flag is reddish. Flagpole is 10.75" long, made of painted wood, with copper—painted decoration at top. Corners of flag and flagpole have been glued to page. Handwritten above flag: "Alaska's Official Flag."

E — White envelope with back displayed; outside of envelope flap has been glued to album page. Envelope is 5.25" x 2.5" with two purple three—cent Alaska postage stamps and postmark reading "Juneau Alaska Nov. 12 9:00 AM 1937." Addressed in blue ink to "Mrs Floyd Dryden City". Handwritten below envelope: "The day the first Alaskan stamps were issued."
