A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Newspaper clipping, 2" x 5.5", short article entitled "Flag Designer Donates Prize Watch to Museum," describing Benny Benson's donation to State Museum of the watch he was awarded for selection of his design as the official state flag.

C — Clipping, 3.5" x 5.5", short printed article entitled "Alaska's Official Flag". Article describes flag competition and winning design submission. Handwritten caption below items B & C reads: "The following was copied from underneath the original design by this native boy, was in the museum. "The blue field is for the Alaskan sky and the for—get—me—not an Alaskan flower. The north star is for the future state of Alaska, the most northern of the union. The dipper is for the Great Bear or symbolizing strength. The original design of the official flag of Alaska drawn and designed by Benny Benson, 13 yrs old, student in the 7th grade of the Mission Territorial school near Seward, Alaska. Adoped [sic] by the Alaska territorial legislature and approved May 2, 1927."

D — Image of totem pole, 0.75" x 3.5", tinted in yellow, blue, and red. Affixed to proper left edge of page. Same as 2005.41.002C.

E — Clipping, 3.5" x 5", printed article entitled "Juneau, the Capitol City of Alaska," giving brief overview of Juneau including location, history, industry, resources, temperature, mining, shipping, and tourism.

F — Black and white photo, view from South Franklin looking north up the street. Printed in white across bottom of photo: "#756 Looking up Franklin St. — Juneau T. Davis". "X" marked in blue ink over a building with a faded "X" above it and extremely faded "O" near sidewalk in lower proper right quadrant of photo. Handwritten below photo: "X — Gastineau Hotel. O — George Bros grocery, liquor and merchandise store."
