Artist's note:
A small melt stream flows into a melt pond on the Mendenhall Glacier. Water can be found as a solid, a liquid or a gas on glaciers. At least during the summer, all three states exist at the same time. Glaciers are truly water wonderlands, and this photo proves it: solid, liquid or gas— its all here!
