A — Black paper album page with two holes proper right side. One photo affixed to front, two loose. One photo affixed to back, one loose. Captions printed in white ink beside photos to which they refer. Missing photos originally had captions "Whittier's Fill bisects Village"; "ANB Hall"; "Edwards' Home"; "Ex—Captain R.B. Lesher"; and "West from Cropley's Residence".
B — Photograph (4.75 by 3.5 inches), boardwalk with rail cuts across lower proper left corner directly before camera. Open ground beyond with rock fill covering proper left part of ground; white two—story house on pilings on lower proper right part of ground abutting rocky slope. Dark house with white trim around two visible windows in upper proper left corner of photo. Dark—colored vehicle parked beside it, facing away from camera. Other houses visible in background. Caption below place where photo was originally affixed reads "Indian Properties".
C — Photograph (4.75 by 3.25 inches), wide expanse of rock fill with Willoughby Avenue cutting horizontally across photo in background and Salvation Army building (white with a larger front structure and smaller rear structure) on far side of street. Long building with "JUNEAU" in dark letters on roof to proper right of Salvation Army and farther in distance; part of a dock can be seen at proper right of long building. Corner of dark—colored house visible along proper right edge of photo. Caption to proper left of photo reads "Salvation Army Hall".

C — As per Marie Olson, dock in background is oil dock. Salvation Army building had quarters in back.
As per Marie Olson, RB Lesher was a Captain in the Salvation Army, and he later worked for AEL&P. He rented an apartment at the Malaspina after he left the Salvation Army.
