Color photograph in horizontal view of a metal frame span bridge with a concrete bridge under construction in the foreground. The bridge spans a channel of water. Tree covered slopes and mountain tops with scattered snow patches fill the background. On reverse side is a red stamp: "Kodak JUN 81".
Notes:
The photos belonged to Vern Hirsch who worked as a project engineer on the Juneau Bridge. Vern came to Juneau in 1953. He went to High School here, then was educated at Oregon and Stanford. He was involved in the first "pot bust" in Juneau.
