Color photograph in horizontal view of a metal girder span bridge on proper left with a concrete bridge under construction in photo center. There is framework around the bridge under construction. The bridge is on a channel of water. Tree covered slopes and mountain tops with scattered snow patches fill the background. On reverse side is a red stamp: "Kodak JUN 81".
Notes:
The photos belonged to Vern Hirsch who worked as a project engineer on the Juneau Bridge. Vern came to Juneau in 1953. He went to High School here, then was educated at Oregon and Stanford. He was involved in the first "pot bust" in Juneau.
