Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) tied up to a shore line. Text on the side of the aircraft identify it as a part of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. The tail of the plane extends over the bank. There are two boats also tied up close to the shoreline next to the plane in the lower proper left corner of the image. Buildings, water and tree lined mountains in background.
Verso has a stamped number "46" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink. Handwritten in pencil is the word "Whitehorse".
