B — Black and white aerial shot of downtown Juneau taken from Mount Juneau area, looking down the channel. Printed in white in lower proper right corner of photo: "Looking Down Channel at Juneau, Alaska / 35020 (c) 1933 Ordway." Town fills most of central and lower areas of photo; bottom of Mount Roberts in upper proper right corner; channel runs diagonally upward from lower proper left edge toward top of photo. Large ship in water near downtown, facing proper left. Douglas and mountains in upper proper left corner. Handwritten caption below photo reads: "The evening, at eight o—clock Aug. 13 — 1935 we arrived here. This view is looking down the channel where the boats all enter. The village across the channel is Douglas. The boats have to turn around and go bck out the way they come in, turning at Douglas Island to the westward.

C — Brightly colored aerial shot of Juneau & Douglas before 1935; photo has no border.. Channel is very blue and runs from upper proper right corner southward toward lower proper left corner. Photo taken from Douglas side with downtown Douglas just visible in lower proper right quadrant; downtown Juneau is near center of photo, and Thane in lower proper left quadrant. Mountains of Juneau & Douglas (only bottoms visible on the Douglas side) are very green. White ship in water near downtown Juneau. Handwritten caption to proper left of photo reads: "Before bredge [word crossed out] was built" and below photo: "This view is looking from Douglas across the channel to Juneau, with Mt. Juneau just back of town. No large vessels go up the channel above Juneau for in places the water isn't very deep, in fact when the tide is out there are places one can walk across."

D — Black and white photo of the first Douglas bridge. Mount Juneau in background, filling top half of photo, with sky just visible in upper proper left quadrant. Photo taken from Douglas; bridge runs diagonally across center of photo, and has many vehicles and people on it.
