Document outlining the 1996—2000 Business plan for the Auke Tribe Council. Document is stapled together in the top proper right corner and all pages have been three—hole punched along the proper right edge. Document is 29 pages in length, including cover page and appendices which are not numbered in the document.

Front Page has:
"Auke Tribe Council, Inc." above and between two eagle figures. Below the figures is:
"300 VILLAGE STREET / JUNEAU, ALASKA 99801".

In lower proper right corner is:

The executive summary located on the first interior page states:
"This business plan is intended to articulate the vision of the Juneau, Indian Village and the Members of the Auke Tribe Council, Inc., as they work towards the preservation of their Heritage. The remodeling of the Auke Tribe headquarters on WIlloughby Avenue, and the raising of the Eagle and Raven Totems, which now stand as sentinels to the culture center, are symbolic of the renewed sense of pride and hope the people of Juneau, Indian Village and the Auke members have for their future. The Auke Tribe headquarters will serve as the meeting place for the members and a place of employment for others.

This plan outlines the essentials for developeing a Salmon/Halibut bake at the Native Culture Center in the Juneau Indian Village. In addition to the Salmon Bake, a display of locally hand—crafted indigenous artwork, and the offering of authentic Tlingit and Haida Native Dances with the Traditional Drumming will be staged twice (2) a day. Storytelling will be staged every afternoon during the cruiseship season. There will be artisan and handcrafters in the process of assembling their work for pulbic viewing in the downstairs workshops and giftshops. All completed feature work will be for sale.

The chart below summarizes sales, gross margins, and net profits projected over the next three years. according to the plan specifics, which reflect estimated sales and operating costs, it is anticipated this bussiness venture will generate at least $150,000 in gross sales by the end of the third year."
