Blue lined bullion record books of AJ mines giving bar numbers wt. mill, etc. from Assay office.

Mine closed 1944. Assay office continued. H. Hayes did clean up of mill 1954—56. Earlier clean ups came from refinery, settling trap, rougher (sic) floor (concetrator floor) tube & ball mills. Bar #2,278 represents last of regular production before shut down of mill. Information in "Bullion Record Book".
Mr. Skuse was head assayer at AK Gastineau Mine before Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. Mine (see "HARDROCK GOLD", pg. 80)
