Scope & Content:
City of Douglas Police Department file on William Howard, "parole", convicted in Municipal Court and paroled on condition that he start work in the Ready Bullion Mine and repay fine. At the top of the page is typewritten: "COPY, ORIGINAL ON FILE. Douglas, Alaska. November 7, 1922".
Page 2 is handwritten in ink and is dated November seven, 1922. First line reads: "This memorandum is a parole for Wm. Howard..." It is written on the back of a printed Douglas City Wharf form.
Page three is on Alaska Treadwell Mining Company General Merchandise letterhead and is a receipt made out to W.L. Howard for groceries totally $12.75. List is hand written in pencil and dated December 1922.
