Scope & Content:
Framed, rectangular paper containing seventy one governmental signatures, including U.S. Senators, U.S. Representatives, Governor William. A. Egan; Secretary of State, Senators, Representatives, Sergeant—at—Arms, Secretary of the Senate, Chief Clerk of the House, in black ink. Paper is mottled gray and yellow with two eagles at top facing each other; sash extends behind them, both in gold ink. Circle is between eagles. Seal, date and printing on sashes in black ink. Frame is 0. 5 inches thick and is gold—painted wood. Back is covered by brown paper. 2. 25 inches long metal saw—tooth band on top back edge for hanging.
Inscription: "1959 / The Seal of State of Alaska / 1st Elected Government /State of Alaska"
