Scope & Content:
Folded cream colored Fourth of July program dance card. Two American flags in color on standards with golden eagle at top. Inside has twelve dances listed as program with men's names written in pencil with ten on back. Card was Mamie Burkmans' (Price?). All printing in blue. Small hole in top left hand corner.
Inscription: "1776—1901 Fourth of July Douglas, Alaska"

Mrs. Mahaffy's grandfather came to Juneau in 1893 bringing 4 sons. 1 was Charles Price, her father. Mrs. Mamie Burkam may have been 2nd wife. After Treadwell cave—in (4/17/17), family moved south. Donated through Gastineau Channel Hist. Society. (President Willette Janes)
