Notes:
The Juneau Ferry & Navigation Co. operated from late 1874 to 1935.
Telephone service was available as early as 1895 but the Juneau & Douglas Telephone Co. was not incorporated until 1910 w/ 24—hour service starting in 1903. The Telephone Co. was owned by donor's grandfather, Edward Webster and Frank Bach.
Mr. Webster provided tickets so workers could go to Douglas Office. Roy Carrigan worked for Co. late 20's & 30's. 11 years older than Verna, he walked on beach from ferry (near present bridge) to downtown Douglas.
