Lower two—thirds of poster is vertically divided between a text rectangle on proper left and a map of Southeast Alaska with text underneath on proper right. Text rectangle is bordered by a purple line and has a mottled purple background behind black text. Text reads "1991 / Lions Gold Medal Basketball / Opening Games" over three text columns. First column gives the dates and times of the games. Second column gives playing teams. Third column is the bracket (A, B, or C). There are twelve games listed.

On proper right side is a black outline map of Southeast Alaska with Haines, Yakutat, Juneau, Sitka, Klukwan, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Whitehorse, Hoonah, Kake, Klawock, Angoon, Hydaburg, Metlakatla, Craig, Petersburg, Tenakee Springs, Saxman, and Pelican marked with black stars and the name of the city in purple text surrounded by a black rectangle. The cities are also listed on seven lines next to the map in black italics and purple dots between each name.

Below the Southeast, Alaska map is a world map with the Lions logo and a ring with "WE SERVE" in purple hollow text around the world at the equator. Next to that is a solid black rectangle with "Juneau Lions Club" in mottled purple, flanked by scroll—like designs. Below these two logos is black text "March 3 thru March 9, 1991 / Juneau, Alaska / Juneau/Douglas High School Gymnasium" and "PRINTED IN JUNEAU BY ALASKA LITHO, INC." in both black and purple, offset.
