Correspondence between Edward Chamberlain of Sitka and C.C. Page, Clerk for Juneau District Courts regarding supply of license forms, dated 1907—1908.
One (1) piece lined paper with four lines of writing. "Juneau June 8, 1899" can be read on one of the lines.
One (1) postcard from Edward Chamberlain to "Clerk U.S. District Court Juneau Alaska" stating: "Dear Sir: — WIll you kindly send me a few blanks for barroom license and mercantile license and oblige. Yours respectfully Edward Chamberlain". Post card is dated "JUN 10 1907" from Sitka, Alaska.
One (1) typed letter from "C.C. Page, Clerk" for Juneau District Courts, to "Mr. Edward Chamberlain, Sitka, Alaska" dated June 17, 1907 stating: "Dear Sir: As requested in your post—card of the 10th instant, I enclose herewith a supply of bar—room and mercantile licenses, respectively; also a copy of a circular letter recently sent out from this office, relative to the necessity of obtaining or renewing licenses upon expiration."
One (1) typed letter from Edward Chamberlain of Sitka, Alaska and "C.C. Page, Esq., Clerk U.S. District Court, Juneau, Alaska.", dating May 9th, 1908 and stating: "Dear Sir:— Will you kindly furnish me with a few bar—room and general merchadise licence blanks, and oblige".
One (1) typed letter from "C.C. Page, Clerk" for Juneau District Courts, to "Mr. Edward Chamberlain, Sitka." dated May 12, 1908 stating: "Dear Sir: In accordance with your request of May 9th I send you herewith bar—room and general mercantile license blanks for your use."
One (1) telegram reading "Sitka Alaska June 18.1908 C.C.Bage, Clerk U.S.District Court, Juneau. Please wire if barroom License five hundred dollars as heretofore. Chamberlain".
One (1) telegram reading " Juneau Alaska, June 19, 1908. Chamberlain, Sitka Alaska Bar Room license fee same as last year. Page Clerk."
