Scope & Content:
A book containing handwritten and typed records and minutes of meetings held by the Juneau Volunteeer Fire Department (JVFD) during September 1927 and April 1933.

The book's spine and cover are a forest green in color, with white text on the spine reading "JUNEAU / VOLUNTEER / FIRE DEPT. / RECORDS / AND / MINUTES" The record book contains 252 lined, wide—ruled, pages as well as numerous pages adhered.

The page preceding the actual records is titled 'SECRETARY'S RECORDS' containing a printed Index of the record book, suggestions to the secretary, and a small print ad for 'Cairns and Brother' on the bottom of the page. Pages one(1) to 41 remain blank, with no handwriting.

Page 42 contains five (5) names on the page titled 'Roll of Honorary and Contributing Members'

Pages 58 to 67 contains a roster for roll call

Meeting minutes from September 1927 to April 5, 1928 are on pages 160 to 172; minutes from November 1, 1928 to April 6, 1933 are on pages 180 to 203

Page 179 contains the handwritten message, "May — June — July — Aug — Sept — Oct / Minutes of 1928 Missing"

The second to last page of the book contains a print ad for 'Carins and Brother,' Standard Equipments and Supplies for Firemen.
