Here is located the residence of the / Governor and the seat of all legislative departments. / The Silver Bow Basin back of Juneau is one of the most beautiful mountain canyons in Alaska. Mendenhall Glacier and Auk Lake, reached by a picturesque highway, are two of the outstanding / scenic spots of Southeastern Alaska. / At the right of the drawing, may be seen the mill of the Alaska—Juneau gold mines. This is the / largest gold quartz mill in Alaska and one of the / largest gold mills in the world. / In this outstanding series of wood blocks used on our menus, Glen / Sheckles has caught the rugged beauty and real spirit of Alaska. Complete / sets for mailing to friends are available from the Steward upon request. / These prints are very attractive when framed, and the above description/ should be pasted on the back, for a lasting story of the scene. / Copyrighted and all rights reserved by the Alaska Steamship Company. / Printed in U.S.A. by Farwest Lithograph & Printing Company, Seattle. / For interesting Alaska Vacation literature, write to Room 582 / ALASKA STEAMSHIP COMPANY / Pier Two, Seattle, Washington".
