    4.75" x 6.75" paper booklet with the title:  "THE GIFT OF THE PEOPLE OF ALASKA TO THE U.S.S. ALASKA"  "JUNE, 1944".  Stamped in black ink on the cover:  "FROM OFFICE OF GOVERNOR OF ALASKA JUNEAU, ALASKA".  Booklet commemorates the launching of the heavy cruiser "Alaska".  It was the first important warship to be named Alaska and to bear the name of any United States territory,
