Beige cover with printing in dark brown. Center has ink drawing of three masted ship. Trees in foreground; mountains in background. Back cover has ink drawing of cabin with campfire in foreground, mountain in background. Booklet has thirty four pages. Text on the front reads: "The \ Kobuk Maiden \ And Other \ Alaska Sourdough Verses".


The title page in the book indicates it is a "collection of Alaska verse compiled from newspapers published in the territory from 1866 to 1933". The book is dedicated to the Pioneers of Alaska "Empire Builders of the Northland".
