Dates of Creation:
01/01/1939
Notes:
These were found hidden behind a print (poster) of a rattle done by Bill C. Ray. The three bills were carefully matted. Light damage to the mat indicated they were displayed at one time, enough to cause the fading. Who saved them? Why? Were the bills not paid? Was there some consequence? Why were they hidden? Is the image of the poster any clue? The framed item was saved in the exhibits area of the Museum for possible reuse of the frame (came to the museum pre—2001) so its history is a mystery.
